The inspiration behind this kitchen design and build was uniqueness. This kitchen, which was featured in Atlanta Home Improvement magazine, amplifies the classic styling of a white kitchen to the next level. By integrating contemporary decorative wood elements with acrylic cabinetry, traditional components meld into exceptional design. Redesigning the layout of the back wall by relocating the pantry entry to the end of the wall created space for a high end range and refrigerator and more countertop space. Incorporating European styling, deep drawers were utilized instead of lower cabinets resulting in more functional access for everyday kitchen items. The large center island features a combination of drawers and cabinets on three sides. All of this was achieved through comprehensive spatial planning while remaining within the footprint of the former kitchen.
Wallpaper is back. The bold, geometric prints and patterns used in this kitchen create a strong base for the space’s decorative elements and neutral cabinets. This kitchen boasts rhombus teal tiles laid in a cubic design which complement the implementation of the orange color throughout this space. The room is completed with whimsical pendant lights. The seamless design nods to both contemporary and mid-century modern aesthetics.
